Nuku is to move, to shift, to expand, to journey. It is the foundation of our innovation as Māori. Our tūpuna travelled vast distances, guided by the stars, by manu, and by the patterns of the taiao. They adapted to each new environment, working with the resources at hand while carrying mātauranga forward.
